The Waterfront Bar and Grill has the city's oldest existing liquor license and is generally recognized as the oldest bar in the San Diego - it's actually the second behind Tivoli Bar in the Gaslamp District. It was opened right after prohibition ended in 1933, so it's got some history. It' also one of the most welcoming dives we've ever been in. The people - both the customers and staff - are friendly, the prices and selection are both great, and the food is good and quality. Plus, it sits about 2 blocks from the marina about a mile from the Seaport Village so you'll have other things to do when you visit. Music by incompetech.com.
